Problem
Most recipe sites sit behind sign-up walls or load the page with ads. There was no simple place to keep recipes and plan the week without that noise.
What shipped
A recipe vault and weekly meal planner: save recipes, place them on a calendar, and review breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for a given day. Data stays in the browser via local storage. No accounts, no backend, no extra motion. The meal calendar is custom — not a third-party planner package.
Role
Solo. Interface, React state, local storage, the meal planner, and hosting. Built for personal use; a second person still uses it.
Result
In weekly use for meal planning. It replaced ad-heavy and account-required recipe sites for both people who use it.
