Case study

Blog

A writing site with a real database, not a static dump of posts.

Desktop homepage of the Max Coding blog, with latest posts in a three-column grid.

Stack: Next.js · TypeScript · Prisma · Postgres · Tailwind CSS · shadcn/ui

Problem

There was no owned place to publish longer technical writing — tutorials, notes, and opinions — without relying on someone else's platform.

What shipped

A Next.js blog backed by Postgres and Prisma: posts stored in a database, rendered with server components, and served through local Node APIs. The interface uses Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.

Role

Solo. Frontend, APIs, database, migrations, and deployment.

Result

The site is live and still used to publish writing.
